Antony Hurst, Managing Director, EASL is chairing sessions on Seismic and Transient Analyses and High Temperature Components in 26th International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE-26). The conference is organised organised annually by Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In addition to chairing sessions, Antony is also presenting a technical paper entitled ‘A Structural Integrity Assessment of a Nuclear Boiler Superheater Bifurcation at High Temperature’. The paper has been prepared by Brahim Nadri & Rob Wang, EASL experts in finite element analysis and high temperature life assessments of boiler and reactor internal structures and components.
EASL is currently providing its technical services to support operation and maintenance of the current fleet of nuclear reactors and research & development of nuclear fusion energy and small modular reactors (SMRs) in the UK. If you are attending ICONE-26, then please feel free to get in touch with Antony to find out how EASL is supporting the UK nuclear industry.
